General
The Fender FT-004 is a handy little clip-on tuner. Clip-on tuners are clamped onto the headstock of your string instrument and ascertain pitch by measuring the frequency of string vibrations. This makes the tuner very accurate, as there is no interference from environmental noise. The tuner is powered by a 3V 1032 battery (included).

Thanks to its large backlit LCD display, the FT-004 is clearly legible, even on dark stages. It has 5 modes: guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, violin and chromatic. The desired mode can be selected by pressing the on/off-button several times after the tuner has been switched on. In chromatic mode, the tuner recognises all half notes in a range from B0 up to B7. That's why it is fit to use on almost every string instrument.
Simple controls
The Fender FT-004 is very easy to use. Simply clamp the tuner onto the headstock of your instrument and strum one of the strings. If the string is not in tune, the screen will light up blue with white letters. The position of the needle indicates whether you need to tighten the string or loosen it. When the needle is precisely in the middle and the screen becomes black with green lettering, the string is tuned correctly.

Er is nog iets geks aan de hand. Je stemt je gitaar, alles groen. De volgende dag check je weer, zijn alle snaren TE HOOG gestemd. Dat is wel heel vreemd, maar dat heb ik al heel vaak gehad. Ik zoek nu een beter apparaatje
