The expertly designed EVH 5150 III Hypersonic FR-12 Full-Range, Flat-Response (FRFR) speaker cabinet has been exclusively designed to support digital amplifier modellers and profilers that work with progressive impulse response tech. Plug in, and this cabinet ensures flawless and untouched, tight reproduction of the sound of your unit, bringing the finer details of your favourite amplifier emulations and effects to full life.

The EVH 5150 III Hypersonic FR-12: The Power, the Volume & the Dynamics

This active cabinet features an integrated 1,000 Watt power amp section which, combined with the 12 inch Special Design Speaker mounted in the body, delivers all the volume, all the power and all of the dynamics demanded by gigging guitarists - no matter how big the stage. The active three-band EQ section and high-cut pot hands you full control over your amp sounds, so quick mid-set tweaking can happen without messing with the line-output going to the main desk. And, while this cabinet is advanced, it also comes wrapped in the same tight styling as the 5150 III amplifiers and cabs that came before it, giving you some authentic EVH-approved stage-presence.

One is called the Piranha Micro Head, a 20W hybrid top that can practically fit into your jacket pocket.
