Bij de slide terecht gekomen via de black mountain thumbpick waar ik al een behoorlijk poosje mee speel. Het veerprincipe is fantastisch, hierdoor zit de thumbpick nooit te strak en glijdt ie toch niet van je duim af. Omdat dit dus prima werkt dacht ik dat dit voor een slide wellicht ook ideaal zou zijn omdat die vaak of te strak om je vinger zitten of er hinderlijk overheen schuiven/afschuiven. En inderdaad, ook dit werkt prima. Voordeel is dat je gewoon al je akkoorden kunt blijven pakken omdat je je vingers vrij houdt. Het is wel even wennen om de juiste positie te vinden tijdens het spelen omdat de slide vrij smal is. Dat luistert dus nauwer dan bij een metalen of glazen buisje dat je om je vinger schuift. Maar het grote voordeel is, dat je je "slidevinger"dus gewoon kunt buigen. Wel even opletten hoe je hem om je vinger schuift, maar ook dat is een kwestie van , snel, wennen. Best een prijzig ding, maar zijn geld wat mij betreft wel waard.
