General

A powerful simulator packed with the sound of no-less-than three iconic amplifiers, all neatly folded away in a space-saving three-button stompbox and supported by a real 12AX7 valve: this is the Two Notes ReVolt Guitar Amp Sim. Essentially an all-in-one rig, this unit can be taken into the studio as well as on stage and even features an effects loop to support seamless pedalboard integration.

Three Ionic Amplifiers in One

The ReVolt Guitar is basically a three-channel amplifier in one stompbox, but each of those channels emulates a separate amplifier. The first two channels are based on two legendary amplifiers of old while the third channel is based on a more modern, metal-focussed amp. With this pedal on your side, you're genuinely able to take your tone in every possible direction: from a bell-like American Clean to a raw British Crunch or, for more heavy yet right gains, to a Modern Lead. The tone of each channel can be dialled in separately and for some extra push, every channel features an adjustable Boost function.

The Two Note ReVolt: Plenty of Options

This amp sim pedal has been built for the contemporary guitarist in need of a more compact rig as well as the scope to mould custom guitar sound to shape. Everything has been sealed inside a solid and durable, tour-ready box that, next to the effects loop, has been fully prepped to support the four-cable-method, so you can even choose to place certain pedals before or after the valve preamp. Even beyond the stage rig, this model supports MIDI in and out and is home to a high-grade speaker simulation backed up by ten different speaker types, ensuring pristine yet realistic and warm recordings.

Speel al jaren gitaar diverse stijlen en daarnaast altijd op zoek (leuk ook) naar de ultieme effecten. Heb me met de TwoNotes gedwongen om back to basic te gaan. Alles maar dan ook echt alles via de TwoNotes als enige pedaal (oké tuner ernaast). En dat lukt, total clean funk, heerlijk rock groove via de grunce en solo's via de lead op max.
En weet je, in de mix (looper/band) gaat het helemaal mooi samen. De lead op max gaan maakt een echo overbodig. (k hoef tussen door niet aan de knoppen, alles op 1 stand clean gain 75%, crunch gain 20%, lead gain 100%. )

Presque un sans faute, mais non !

Boitier très solide, ça respire la qualité, très beau son, sur les trois modes avec beaucoup de possibilités grâce aux potards de tonalité, la fonction boost en offre d'autant plus.
Malheureusement le mode clean offre une puissance de sortie nettement inférieure aux deux autres modes et c'est très pénible et frustrant, particulièrement si on l'utilise sur l'entrée de la boucle d'un ampli, même à fond, c'est plus que faiblard, il faut au moins enclencher le boost si on veut un niveau acceptable, (test sur un tous lampes 20 w). Le probléme est, évidemment identique avec une interface audio.

Comment les ingés de Two Notes ont-ils pu laisser passer une telle chose ???

Je rajouterais, même si c'est moins grave, qu'une seule simulation de cab fournie sur cette machine n'est pas très généreux de la part de la marque, serait-on pingre à ce point, chez Two Notes ?

Bref, un presque trés bon produit... Dommage !

Drie kanaalspedaal (Fenderish clean, Marshall Plexi crunch en Soldano distortion) met boost (dus eigenlijk 6), amp sim en IR. Zeer leuke, complete en veelzijdige pedaal. Goede I/O en goede sounds. De range van de gains en EQ zijn niet altijd zo drastisch als je idealiter zou willen, en de cab sim/IR is niet customizable (wat niet te begrijpen is voor een company zoals Two Notes). Voor stand-alone gebruik krijg ik er net niet uit wat ik idealiter zou willen, maar met four-cable method (en een platform amp) is dit een zéér goede pedaal. Pedalboard real estate is zeer goed voor een pedaal met zoveel features, maar speelt net niet goed genoeg met andere pedaaltjes om vaste waarde op mijn pedalboard te worden.

Absoluut een beest van een pedaal, zeker in combinatie met de Two Notes C.A.B M+…

Tip! Ik gebruik de Revolt zelf in een ampless rig in combi met de C.A.B M+. De XLR uitgang direct out te gebruiken raad ik niet aan als je ampless gaat! Overdrive/Distortion kanalen geven (net als in weze elk ander overdrive pedaal) ) ruis, vandaar dat de Revolt in mijn pedal platform in 4 cable method met mijn Boss NS-2 geïntegreerd zit, daarna door naar de C.A.B M+ en daarachter in de chain mijn modulatie-effecten (Boss CH-1, DD-3, PS-5, SY-300) en dan stereo out naar FOH.
