General

Stage-ready, the Radial PZ-Deluxe Preamp has been designed from the ground up to get the best live sound out of your acoustic instrument. Neatly packed away inside a two-button pedal unit, the PZ-Deluxe supplies a complete three-band EQ section so you can optimise the frequency response and even a low-cut filter for suppressing any overbearing bass frequencies, wiping your sound clean of feedback. If you're playing an instrument that's amplified via a piezo pickup, simply hit the PZB button to push up the impedance and give the sound more body while removing the tinny edge that's often associated with a piezo. The phase that can happen between your instrument and the PA speakers can even be countered by flipping the fitted Phase switch and, since the PZ-Deluxe comes pre-equipped with a balanced output, you'll have zero issues when connecting it to the mixing desk using a longer cable.
