Further developing their amp-in-a-box tech, DSM & Humboldt offer up the Simplifier MK-II: even more realistic analogue amplifier emulations wrapped in an even more compact box that will neatly slot into the corner of any pedalboard. The Zero Watt Reverb Stereo Amplifier has been improved on all sides, so while the clear and tactile layout has been retained, the preamp section has been fully redesigned, kitting you out with a broader set of gain options and pushing the flexibility up to support virtually any genre and playing style going.

The DSM & Humboldt Simplifier MK-II: AC Brit, MS Brit & American

Packed away inside the tight dimensions of the all new DSM & Humboldt Simplifier you'll find the same set of three much-loved preamps: two classic British preamps alongside an iconic California-style preamp. The Simplifier MKII also features a new, specially designed power amp drive, supporting the perfect level of power amp compression, while the clip indicator lets you know when you've hit the sweet spot between the power and preamp drive. Set the master volume level and dictate the amount of distortion you want to push out of the preamp or the incredibly detailed reproduction of a Class-A/B power amplifier.

Mix & Match 3x Vintage Speakers with 3x Classic Cabinets

Like the MKI, the MKII edition also features an effects loop, and to reduce any unwanted distortion when the rest of your effects arsenal is looped through, the master volume can be tweaked as needed. To give the bass some more power when playing through a PA, play with the Resonance pot until things fatten up; use the same pot to give the high-mids of both the USA and MS Brit preamp modes more emphasis; or tweak it to mimic the 'top-boost' channel of an AC30 when AC Brit mode is selected. To finish off your sound, this unit serves up the pick of three profile speakers and three classic cabinets so you can mix and match to build your dream rig before colouring things in with some side-chained plate reverb.
