The Alpha ALPS500-B49 small metric potentiometer is the ideal replacement pot for non-American electric basses and guitars loaded with high-output pickups, and the smaller dimensions have been set up to match the routing of more compact or shallow bodies. The linear impedance curve of this model is ideal for tone controls, and since the impedance sits at 500K, it can handle humbuckers as well as other high-output pickups.

• Please note: This potentiometer has a metric (coarse) shaft with 18 teeth (knurling) and is only compatible with metric pot covers. These pot covers can be found on models like those made in Japan, China, Korea and Indonesia. For American made pot covers, it's best to use potentiometers made by companies like Fender or CTS.
