The Seymour Duncan SH-PG1s Pearly Gates Humbucker Set bundles up two Billy Gibbons dual-coils, so you can kit out a solid-bodied electric or semi-hollow electric guitar with some vintage-inspired flavour. Both the 8.2 kOhm bridge pickup and 7.3 kOhm neck pickup are based on the same humbuckers that came mounted on the 1959 Les Paul, so you're getting the Texas-grade, emphasised mids of Alnico II magnets. The sound of the bridge pickup has also been tightened up and has a bit more output than old-school PAF humbuckers, fully prepping it for some classic rock and blues. The neck pickup, meanwhile is reinforced by a warm low-end, so it can be engaged to support both leads and rhythms. The pair also come pre-fitted with four-core wires that can be installed for coil-splitting and, to help prevent less welcome feedback, both pickups have been wax-potted.
