The potential of the Fishman TriplePlay Guitar Controller blows the doors wide open, then rips them off. This pack includes a simple-seeming hexaphonic pickup and a compact controller that when combined, is able to convert every note of your guitar into a MIDI signal. Throw the resulting signal through the free TriplePlay Connect iOS app, and you're able to turn your guitar into a mouth-watering array of different instruments, including bowed string-sections, brass, piano, and even a drum kit. It's also possible to manipulate your own sound library or other apps using what's essentially a familiar 6-string MIDI controller.
The PRO-TRP-401: Easily Mounted
Since Fishman have kindly included the magnetic mounting hardware needed to install the TriplePlay Connect directly to the face of any electric guitar, the process is kept surprisingly easy and doesn't demand any invasive adjustments to your instrument. The whole system is powered using the included USB cable and, since Fishman's new and thoroughly thought-out pitch-tracking tech is on board, you're assured of super-low latency.

however I still wanted to give the wired version a try and found that bax music offered the the best deal at the time
it does everything that its suppose to do absolutely flawlessly so I don't need to mention what the features are here as its clearly
illustrated in the brochure but what it doesn't mention so clearley is the fact you can just plug the trippleplay directly into your keyboard or midi arranger providing it has usb midi (or usb to din convertor)there's no need for any special programming it just works your arranger changes chords precisely when you do on the guitar also you can use it on several guitars without any special setup on your arranger as it comes with extra brackets to add to all your guitars incidentally if you decide to go for the wireless version it works the same way too
so if your wondering whether or not to buy a trippleplay connect id say just go for it or at least try it out one last thing that isn't mentioned in the instructions or on the box is the fact you can use this on your acoustic guitar too providing you use nickel strings but I tried it with the usual bronze acoustic strings and it worked no problem although its not recommended it does still work at least for me anyway.so just enjoy transforming all your favourite guitars into midi guitars for a fraction of the cost of a new midi Guitar.
