In this set of Fluence Modern Humbuckers, Fishman have developed something entirely fresh. Rather than following the standard route of using spooled winding, Fishman have used a highly innovative Fluence core with a print-plate. The result is an active humbucker with squeaky-clean operation that retains clarity at any volume level, and they're also insensitive to any signal loss when long cables are used. This set offers an pure modern sound so that, in the words of Fishman, "Everything you hear is true."
The Fluence Modern: 1 Humbucker, 2 Voicings
The Fishman Fluence Modern pickup set comes with a neck pickup fitted with an Alnico V magnet and a bridge pickup with a ceramic VIII magnet. Due to their smart design, each pickup offers two entirely different voicings that are toggled using a simple push/pull tone pot. The first voicing gives you an ultra-modern, active sound that's perfect for the definition demanded of straight-up rock and metal. Meanwhile, the second voicing provides a more passive feel, where your playing dynamics are given outstanding presence. This set of humbuckers is powered by a 9V battery or a rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack (not included).
