As wide-ranging as the tone of a Strat loaded with three pickups is, sometimes you just might want something different. That's where this Pre-Wired Strat Pickguard comes in. Equipped with Pure Vintage '65 single-coil pickups, including a reverse-wound mid pickup with reverse polarity to ensure noise-free tone, this 11-hole pickguard is a superb upgrade if you're yearning for that mid-sixties sound. It's furnished with standard-issue controls with CTS pots and, once it's screwed in place, only needs to be soldered to your output jack.

Wrote the following about Fender Pre-Wired Strat Pickguard Pure Vintage '65 RWRP Middle Parchment 11-Hole

Enorme verbetering ten opzicht van de standaard Squier Pickups. Echt jaren 65 sound.
Het haalt misschien 5% van de scherpste (Stratocaster sound) randjes af, maar dat mis je niet.
Geschikter dus voor blues/jazzy toepassingen ten opzichte van de het standaard Stratocaster geluid.
