General

While the DiMarzio DP224F AT-1 humbucker was originally set up for models with a 25.5 inch scale length, it can be loaded onto other models with no issues. This F-spaced edition is compatible with electric guitars mounted with a Floyd Rose bridge or similar tremolo assemblies, and once installed, it delivers plenty of basses and low-mids, giving guitars with a brighter sonic character some extra warmth, while plenty of note-definition is still retained in the higher registers. The AT-1 has been developed with the capable help of American guitarist Andy Timmons with a focus on creating 'hot' sound - enough heat to back up heavier genres.
