The DiMarzio DP207 D Sonic boasts a bang-on treble response, making this bridge pickup perfect for solos and barrages of single notes. You can either mount it so the pole-pieces sit on the side of the bridge for brighter, more defined sound, or the other way around for louder, warmer sound. Each coil shapes a unique timbre and when the pickup is installed in parallel, you even get a third tonal option in the form of clean-and-clear sound. The DP207 D Sonic is mainly suited for guitarists who prefer to play with chunkier strings and in a drop tuning.
