The official Fender Satin Roasted Maple Telecaster Neck has a stable, high-grade roasted maple build topped with a rosewood fretboard. Install this neck and take the playability of your Fender or Squier model to the next level. The maple has been carefully heated to remove as much moisture from the wood as possible, which doesn't just result in a more chic, darker tint but helps prevent the wood from warping. Meanwhile, the smooth coat of satin-gloss on the back of this neck has a faster, non-stick feel in the fret-hand.

The Fender Satin Roasted Maple Telecaster Neck: Modern Playability

It's clear that Fender is catering to the needs of guitarists that want modern playability. The fretboard has been given a flatter 12 inch radius, which is a far cry from the standard 9.5 inches of most standard Fender models. Next to that, you gain the extra grip and light feel of a set of twenty-four jumbo frets, and the pure comfort of rounded fretboard edges, giving this neck an immediately played-in feel.

Fender Introduces Upgraded Mandolins!

Fender recently announced a number of new mandolins: the Concert Tone Mando Pack , Concert Tone FM52E , Concert Tone FM53S , Concert Tone FM63S and the Concert Tone FM63SE . The 53 series features the well-known classic teardrop shape, while the 63 series consists of gorgeous Baroque style mandolins. Furthermore, the E at the end of certain type numbers stands for 'electric', which means that besides the fully acoustic models, there are also electrical models available.
