You get what you pay for. This kit is not a straight forward assembly. It was a bit tricky sorting the neck angles as the fret board was already glued in and the dovetail cavity is a bit off center. the nut,the saddle and the bridge needed reshaping as they didn't fit right.

The build quality overall is good but you need to have basic woodworking skills to complete it.

The sound is OK (For a basswood plywood body) in my opinion. Good trebles but lacking in bass. Good for finger picking but not so much on strumming. It might improve by upgrading it to bone nut and saddle and a decent set of strings.

I bought this kit because it was so cheap and wanted to compare it with the Martin HD28 kit that I recently finished.

I would recommend this kit if you are planning to build a more expensive project.

Building an acoustic guitar was a big step forward for me, and these kits are a great way of making the transition. Good quality parts and a nicely resonant body. I would thoroughly recommend this kit to anyone with some guitar building experience who wants a bigger challenge.

Op zich een aardig pakket, echter pasvorm nek is vrij slecht en kan niet zomaar gemonteerd worden, heeft nog hier en daar wat aanpassing nodig. Daarnaast zijn de gaten in de kop wat groot voor de afdekplaatjes van de stemmechanieken aan de voorkant, ze vallen er simpelweg weer uit. Nieuw setje stemmechanieken moeten bestellen met bus aan de voorzijde die vastgeschroefd kan worden. Al met al leuk om eens te proberen, maar verwacht er niet al teveel van.
