Marshall SC20H Studio Classic JCM800 2203 Purple/Black Levant Limited Edition Guitar Amp Head
Product no: 9000-0100-6670 Bax Music Warranty: This product comes with a 3-year warranty.

General

Marshall's SC20H Studio Classic is a 20-watt tube guitar amp head based on the JCM800 2203. As such, it gives you the same sounds as the model that was introduced in the 1980s and has been making mayhem ever since. The SC20H has three ECC83 tubes in the preamp and two EL34s in the power amp, meaning you can dial in the same sounds as the JCM800 2203 offers, albeit at a lower volume. It's even possible to dial this amp head back to just 5 Watts for practice sessions at home.

A Modern Classic

As you can tell from the control knobs on the face of the SC20H, this Studio Classic Series model has a 3-band EQ along with controls for presence as well as a preamp volume and a master volume. In addition, you're looking at five different speaker outputs that allow you to connect this amp head to a variety of cabinets, and Marshall have even built in a DI out so that you can connect the amp head directly to a mixer or a DAW. Needless to say, there's an FX loop on board too.
