General

The undeniable flagship of the Katana Series, the Katana-Artist MKII amplifier head boasts premium features plus extensive sound-shaping options. Like the combo edition, this head supplies five amplifier models, each with five variations and five effect sections, each with three selectable variations, and all of it is backed up by a fully analogue Class-AB power amplifier section that guarantees authentic Katana-grade sound and playability. Couple it up with the matched Katana 212 Waza speaker cabinet or, of course, your cabinet of choice, and build a fully stage-ready amp stack.

The Boss Katana-Artist MkII Head: All Bases Covered

Every tool needed to hammer, mould and tweak your sound to shape has been thrown in, including a three-way Contour switch, a global EQ section, and an adjustable solo boost complete with delay and five selectable Air Feel settings. This head also features a plethora of connection options, including an FX loop for linking external effect pedals, a line out for direct connection to the PA and a footswitch port for hands-free control. Another welcome perk is the power control switch that can flip the power down from 100 Watts to 50 Watts and even down as low as 0.5 Watts so you can get the same lush musical response at lower volume levels.
