General

The FFM6 Band of Gypsys Fuzz Face Mini by Dunlop reproduces the legendary sound of Jimi Hendrix from 1969 and 1970. Unfortunately, that famous red fuzz pedal with white knobs has mysteriously disappeared, and for years now, Hendrix aficionados have been trying to reproduce that coveted sound. The Dunlop FFM6 exists thanks to years of intense research on all of the circuit designs Hendrix was known to have played on.

Jim Dunlop FFM6 Band of Gypsys Fuzz Face Mini: the legendary Jimi Hendrix fuzz

The Dunlop Band of Gypsys effect pedal is based on the original Octavio circuit used by Hendrix. Of all of the designs still in existence, this effect pedal comes the closest to the legendary fuzz with the unique sound. After a number of adjustments and the removal of the octave signal, Jim Dunlop achieved his goal. The FFM6 Fuzz Face Mini is the stomp box that will give you the sounds from 'Live at the Fillmore East', 'Live at Woodstock', and 'Live at Berkeley' that you've been looking for.

Operating the Jim Dunlop FFM6

The Band of Gypsys Fuzz Face Mini is a solid, compact pedal with a simple layout that makes it easy to take with you and that won't take up much space on your pedal board. The switch and the volume and fuzz potentiometers provide you with everything you need to create that legendary Jimi Hendrix Woodstock sound. An LED above the switch lets you know whether the effect is switched on or off.

Dunlop FFM6 Band of Gypsys Fuzz Face Mini guitar effect pedal
Wrote the following about Dunlop FFM6 Band of Gypsys Fuzz Face Mini guitar effect pedal

Jammer.
