Positive Grid is adding a number of interesting new products to its BIAS range this summer. The new products include amplifier heads, more compact effects pedals and a footswitch to control existing BIAS hardware.
The American amp builders from Mesa Boogie have introduced their first 800W lightweight class-D bass guitar amplifier. With this featherweight powerhouse, which they named the Mesa Boogie Subway D-800, they cater to bass players who are looking for a bass amp head that's easy to transport, but remarkably potent nonetheless.
Mesa Boogie now introduces, alongside the Mark Five Twenty-Five, the Mark Five Thirty-Five! Mesa has continued their glorious tradition by using four EL-84 power tubes in the amplifier, contrary to the earlier Mark Five Twenty-Five, that had to manage with 'only' two. This amp, preceded by the Nomad, Mini Rectifier Twenty-Five and the Caliber, has been released onto Mesa's mini platform in a combo as well as a head version.
Amp manufacturer Mesa Boogie has been Dream Theater guitarist John Petrucci's main brand for years. After thirty years, these two greats have finally teamed up to develop a signature model, the JP-2C tube amp head. The happy occasion is being commemorated by an attractive Limited Edition and an unlimited, but no less pleasing to behold, Standard version. Allow us to introduce you to the shredder's new best friend.
