The Seagull S6 Original QI is based on Seagull's best-selling model, the S6, which is a dreadnought model acoustic guitar with a solid cedar top. Construction and sound of the Seagull S6 Original QI

The top of the Seagull S6 Original QI is made of solid cedar. Compared to spruce, cedar is known for producing a particularly warm, deep tonal quality. The sides and back of the guitar are made of 3-ply Canadian cherry wood, which offers the sultry tone of mahogany and the sparkling characteristics of maple. In order to get the same sublime sound as the original S6 design, Seagull chose not to design this guitar with a cutaway. The maple neck also features a satin gloss for maximum playing comfort.

Electronics: Godin EPM Quantum I

This guitar is equipped with the Godin EPM Quantum I preamp module - a smart, simple system that smoothly transfers your sound to the amplifier. It features an incredibly responsive saddle pickup that's well attuned to the electronics, which include volume control and a 2-band EQ.
