Even Ovation's most affordable series, the Celebrity Standard line, features the famous Ovation Roundback body - the most striking characteristic of the brand's guitar design. Ovation's Roundback bodies are made of a special synthetic composite called Lyrachord and ensure a powerful, crisp sound with excellent projection. Additionally, each of the special Plus models from the Celebrity Standard line is equipped with a top with a luxury look. This Ovation CS24P-TBBY, for instance, features a flamed maple top, which gorgeous wood grain is clearly visible thanks to the Trans Black lacquer finish.

CS24P-TBBY: Roundback body and OP-4BT preamp

The Ovation CS24P-TBBY has a Mid-Depth Bowl-model Roundback body, which has been tried and tested and guarantees a balanced sound and a delightful response. Would you like to play amplified? The CS24P has all it takes. A Slimline pickup and a built-in OP-4BT preamplifier generate a powerful output that can be sent to a mixer or audio interface. You can even adjust the timbre by means of 3-band tone controls. For a comfortable playing experience, finally, the guitar has been equipped with a smooth neck.

Ovation guitars stand out thanks to their impressive sustain, volume and projection. They are the result of Ovation's devotion to perfecting the acoustic construction of a guitar. The Roundback design and the lightweight, rugged composite Lyrachord play an important role. In Ovation's famous electro-acoustic models, for instance - which already featured a pickup/preamp system back in the 1970s - the roundback construction reduces feedback to a minimum.
