General

The Ovation C24-1 Celebrity Standard is an electro-acoustic western guitar with a Mid-Depth Bowl body with a cutaway and a warm 2-colour Sunburst finish. The CS24-1 has a powerful sound that is great for use on stage as well as at home, yet is available for a very reasonable price. Ovation guitars set themselves apart by means of their specially shaped Roundback bodies, made of the synthetic composite Lyrachord. The Mid-Depth Bowl-model body of the CS24 produces a remarkably powerful tone, which is enhanced by the solid spruce top of the instrument.

CS24-1: sound, comfort and amplification

Thanks to the combination of its clever body design and its spruce top, the Ovation CS24 offers exceptionally clear and balanced tonal characteristics and is able to project quite far. The electro-acoustic western guitar is a real looker too, featuring an attractive gloss Sunburst finish, white bindings and a pearloid sound hole rosette. The pleasant Mid-Depth body size and the smooth neck of the CS24-1 ensure a comfortable playing experience. Last but not least, the Ovation CS24-1 Celebrity Standard guitar is equipped with a preamplifier, ensuring a healthy output to transmit to a mixer. You can use the 3-band EQ to adjust the sound to your preferences, and the built-in tuner to quickly tune the guitar to perfection.

Ovation guitars stand out thanks to their impressive sustain, volume and projection. They are the result of Ovation's devotion to perfecting the acoustic construction of a guitar. The Roundback design and the lightweight, rugged composite Lyrachord play an important role. In Ovation's famous electro-acoustic models, for instance - which already featured a pickup/preamp system back in the 1970s - the roundback construction reduces feedback to a minimum.
