General

The Fender Pro Custom TPD-1 Traditional Pro USA is a dreadnought guitar from the Pro Custom series. These guitars are built in sixties style in Connecticut, USA, by Fender's best guitar builders. Only the best components and solid wood were used. The nitrocellulose lacquer doesn't just look pretty, it provides optimal freedom for the wood to resonate, as it can be applied as a very thin layer. This guitar comes with a luxury guitar case, a guitar strap and a certificate of authenticity.

Amplified and acoustic

This top-of-the-line electro-acoustic guitar has a top made of Engelmann spruce, for a full, clear sound. The sides and back are made of mahogany, which provides a warm and open tone, and the fretboard (with beautiful mother-of-pearl inlays) is made of bright-sounding ebony. Fender fitted the Pro Custom TPD1 with the discreet, crystal-clear Fishman Matrix Infinity pickup system so you can easily amplify this instrument. Striking details include the traditional Fender headstock and the aged bindings.

Fender Introduces Upgraded Mandolins!

Fender recently announced a number of new mandolins: the Concert Tone Mando Pack , Concert Tone FM52E , Concert Tone FM53S , Concert Tone FM63S and the Concert Tone FM63SE . The 53 series features the well-known classic teardrop shape, while the 63 series consists of gorgeous Baroque style mandolins. Furthermore, the E at the end of certain type numbers stands for 'electric', which means that besides the fully acoustic models, there are also electrical models available.
