General

Are you looking for an electro-acoustic steel-string guitar that's small enough to travel with, but that still delivers a powerful sound? Then the Paramount PM-2 Deluxe Parlour is worth looking into. This guitar's body is made of a mix of solid spruce and rosewood, giving it a warm sound with plenty of sparkle. An ebony fretboard and a classic Vintage Sunburst finish with a black headstock and late '40s Fender logo completes the picture.

PM-2 Deluxe Parlour Vintage Sunburst: sound and playability

Don't be misled by this Parlour guitar's relatively small body - this model is equipped with the exclusive Fishman Paramount preamplifier which allows you to adjust the volume, bass and treble, and an integrated tuner makes it easy to keep this guitar in tune. The feel of the neck is characteristic for the Parlour. Its scale length is slightly shorter than the average acoustic guitar at 24.75 inches, while the 44.45mm-wide string nut is slightly broader, ideal for complex parts.

Fender Paramount: taking the stage

The name Paramount has a rich history, and is associated with the renowned concert hall in Seattle as well as the American record label, for starters. In order to maintain the excellent reputation attached to that name, Fender aimed to use the very best elementsparts and wood types available within the targeted price class. The types of wood were selected to give these solid-body, electro-acoustic steel-string guitars a rich sound. Additionally, a custom-built preamp complements the body type beautifully. The icing on the cake is a luxury case with humidifier to keep this guitar in optimal shape.
