The Yamaha MP FH 17F4 flugelhorn mouthpiece is an outstanding choice for orchestra musicians who want a large throat. The inner rim diameter and throat of this mouthpiece are comparable to the TR17C4 trumpet model, and are therefore interchangeable.

Standard Series

Yamaha designs and produces an enormous number of mouthpieces for brass instruments. There are so many, in fact, that they are divided into four series: Standard, Gold Plated, Silver 925 and Signature. The Standard series is the most affordable of the four, but is still made with the same high quality you know you can expect from Yamaha. Standard series mouthpieces all offer excellent sound and playability along with a comfortable weight.
