Flip the Up/Down switch at the top of the control panel to select the effected frequency range; set the output volume using the Level pot; tweak the sensitivity of the auto-wah's response using the Sens pot, then play with the Peak pot to dictate the point in the frequency spectrum where you want the dip to hit.
