General

The Electro Harmonix Q-Tron envelope filter adds filter effects to your guitar or bass sound that can only be described as freakishly funky. Choose from a high-pass, a band-pass and a low-pass filter, select a sweep direction and set the range and filter resonance, and get ready for some seriously grooving auto-wah effects. With the Q-Tron’s elaborate controls, you’ll be able to produce anything from subtle filter modulations to synth-like sweeps.

EHX Q-Tron: suitable for guitar and bass guitar

Regardless of whether you use the pedal with a rhythm guitar or with a bass, the Q-Tron envelope filter effect always produces the same vibe level - Electro Harmonix has designed this stomp box for both instruments. From funky bass licks to wild guitar riffs, the Q-Tron always adds the perfect touch. Even your solos have more impact, without needing a separate wah wah pedal. No matter which instrument you play, with the Q-Tron you’ll burn down the house.

Versatile sounds and a rugged construction

The Q-Tron has a range knob with two positions. Set to lo, the effect produces vowel-like tones that sound much like the notes you’ve played. Set to hi, the pedal emphasises the overtones of your signal, creating a clear tone that cuts through the mix perfectly. Thanks to a rugged metal housing and solid knobs and switches, you can count on a reliable performance time and again.
