General
The Olympus LS-12 handheld recorder combines professional quality with easy controls. It's an extensive handheld recorder that allows you to effortlessly record music (when you're at a live concert, for instance). Voice recording and dictation are also possible with this practical device. Whether you are recording notes for your upcoming book or a spoken interview, the Olympus LS-12 is your pal!
Powerful audio specs
This Olympus device is fitted with improved microphones, which result in less noise and therefore in a higher recording quality. The digital data quality reaches up to 24-bit/96kHz linear PCM, so you needn't worry about the resolution of your recording - it's excellent! You can store your recordings in WAV or MP3, the first is especially well suited for recordings that need high quality. Musicians are treated to a built-in tuner and metronome, and overdubbing and pre-recording are also possible.
Practical
Apart from high quality, this handheld recorder ensures great user-friendliness. With the rotary knob at the bottom, you can select different modes, like quick, manual and smart. The Smart Mode allows you to set the ideal recording level in accordance with the loudest incoming signal. An internal memory of up to 2 GB can be extended up to 34 GB with separately available SD/SDHC cards. Two AA batteries allow you to use the LS-12 for up to 50 hours, and with a separately available tripod, you'll be able to set the LS-12 on a table or floor - practical for concerts!
