General

The Steinberg UR44C audio/MIDI interface connects to your system via a latency-free USB-C 3.0 port and kits you out with six inputs, four outputs and a set of four Yamaha-designed D-PRE microphone preamps which, combined with the 32-bit conversion and maximum audio resolution of 192kHz, translates into detailed and transparent sound. This already sounds impressive, but when you add on the built-in DSP chip, things get even better.

USB-Powered & CPU Breathing Space

The biggest bonus that comes with the onboard DSP is that you can suddenly record and mix projects using effects without taxing your computer's CPU, resulting in an uninterrupted workflow. Besides Windows and Mac systems, the UR44C is also compatible with iOS, so it can be hooked up to and bus powered by your iPad Pro. The interface itself has also been built like a desktop-friendly tank, making it ideal for working on location and completing a super-compact, mobile recording rig.
