The Steinberg UR22C audio/MIDI interface connects to your system via latency free USB 3.0, supports 32-bit/192 kHz recording and kits you out with two inputs and two outputs. The audio resolution combines with high-quality conversion to result in an enormous dynamic range, which basically translates into crystal clear sound and, since a DSP processor comes built in, effects are handled by the hardware, reducing the load on your CPU. As a final flexible bonus, this efficient interface is not just fully compatible with Windows and Mac systems but iOS devices.

Bus Power & iPad Pro Compatibility

The UR22C interface is bus powered, meaning you can also hook it up to the USB port of a laptop and work on location, completing a compact, mobile recording rig. In fact, this interface can even be connected to and powered by an iPad Pro so, no matter how stripped back your setup, you can still gain the detailed and transparent performance of the two integrated Yamaha-designed D-PRE microphone preamps. Summing everything up: with the UR22C, you're getting better sound quality, faster performance and a more durable and hard-wearing build than any Steinberg offering that came before it.

Looks and feels great and really solid, from the metallic surfaces to the knobs to the rubber feet. Working plug and play on Ubuntu and no complaints so far. DI bass sounds really good, and the monitor/DAW knob is great (the mono switch is invaluable!)
