Essentially wrapping up a universe of sound and planting it in the palm of any guitarist or bassist, the Positive Grid RIFF audio interface won't just upgrade your home studio, but your entire rig. Hook this class-compliant, slimline interface up via USB and, along with the BIAS FX 2 LE software package, turn your computer into an effects rack, an amplifier, a learning tool and a solid little recording studio.
The Positive Grid RIFF: Expand & Grow
The interface itself comes fitted with a clear display screen and a large, tactile selector knob for navigating and adjusting the settings of both the RIFF and the included software. On the recording side, your sound is backed up by high-resolution audio and ultra-low-latency tracking which, in Direct mode supports clean monitoring while you lay down your ideas. And, in Tone mode, pick out one of three high-grade preamps before scrolling through the stack of fifteen amplifier simulations, twenty-two effects and twenty-four presets that already come included with the software. Upgrade to the Standard or Elite edition of BIAS FX 2 via the Positive Grid site to gain access to over 50,000 tone-shaping options, expand the scope and really blow the potential wide open.
Tips or comments about this product- Please note: The RIFF is class-compliant. When connecting the interface to MacOS and iOS systems, a driver is not required. When connecting to a Windows system, the RIFF driver needs to be installed.
