General

The Zoom TAC-2R is a compact, comprehensive audio interface with two microphone/line inputs, MIDI in/out and a stereo output. The volume levels of the main output and the separate headphone output can be controlled independently. The Zoom interface uses the Thunderbolt protocol, which makes it compatible with modern computers. Located at the front, you'll find a practical, large volume knob that allows you to control the output in minute detail. The compact yet complete Zoom TAC-2R delivers studio-grade sound with a resolution of 192 kHz/24 bits.

Zoom TAC-2R: applications

Small interfaces like this Zoom model are quite popular among musicians, as they're simple to use and can be easily transported. The TAC-2R has a rugged metal housing which ensures it can take a hit, while the front-mounted controls are protected by two brackets. Thanks to the use of the Thunderbolt protocol, latency has been reduced to a minimum, making the interface ideal for direct recording in your favourite DAW.
