With this compact RockPro USB audio interface you can easily connect your (bass) guitar to your computer. Plug the instrument cable in the interface, connect the interface to the USB port and you're done! Included are Guitar Rig 5 LE and Amplitube LE/Live, pieces of software to edit your guitar sound with, just like you'd do with an actual combo amplifier. The RockPro has a 6.3 mm headphone connector so you can play and record in silence. The construction of the RockPro allows for direct monitoring via the hardware. As a result, the sound signal will be synchronised as much as possible to your actual timing. The RockPro is completely USB-powered so no adapter is required.

Gelukkig heb ik Guitar Rig niet echt nodig, ik plug het apparaat gewoon in m'n computer, basgitaar en koptelefoon erin, Spotify aan en meespelen maar! Let wel op dat je je koptelefoon niet opblaast de eerste keer, het volume is alleen te regelen via de interface van de driver en staat standaard niet normaal hard.
Helaas op mijn hoofdcomputer met windows 7 ging het niet zo plug en play als verwacht. Na veel proberen, is het wel opgelost. Volgens mij iets te maken met wat doe je eerst installeren (toch wel raar). Krijgt guitar rig het inputsignaal niet van je gitaar, dan alles deinstalleren (alle drivers) en nog eens proberen. Bij een 2e keer alles opnieuw installeren deed ie het keurig!
Op mijn notebook met windows 8.1 deed ie het in 1 keer.
Wanneer het werkt, een keurig apparaatje!
De bijgeleverde Guitar Rig maakt het jammen voor de gitarist helemaal compleet. Ook ideaal voor bassisten. Levering door Baxshop is snel en top, maar dat weten we als klanten allemaal.
Gewoon een mp3tje ofzo opzetten of zelfs via youtube luisteren en spelen, de meegeleverde software werkt gewoon goed.
Ik kan mijn grotere interface en andere rommel op de studeerkamer laten en met dit kastje lekker op de bank gitaar spelen.
1 punt aftrek omdat de bijgeleverde software/driver CD alleen voor Windows is ( Guitar Rig 5LE is wel voor Mac). Ik kon dus geen drivers installeren en niet het benodigde "Control Panel" starten. Ook de Amplitube software is alleen Windows...
Een driver voor de Mac kreeg ik door een mailtje naar de fabrikant te sturen, maar toch vind ik het slordig als hij wordt geadverteerd om te gebruiken met zowel Windows als Mac...
