The Arturia Audiofuse 8Pre is a super-high-grade 19-inch rack audio interface loaded with an arsenal of mixing and recording options and no less than 16 inputs and 20 outputs. Coupled with incredibly fast USB-C connectivity and uber-low latency, you're getting everything you ever wished for in an audio interface.

To get any idea of what makes the Audiofuse 8Pre truly special, you only have to look at the preamps that support each of the eight channels. The Arturia developed DiscretePRO preamps have been designed to pull a fresh dimension out of your productions while giving you nothing but the highest possible audio recording quality. On top of that detail, the Audiofuse 8Pre also features eight digital inputs and outputs, which means that the option to expand via ADAT up to 96 kHz is just another part of the already super-sweet deal.

De bijgeleverde software suite is ook erg sterk. Geen afdankertjes of filler, maar software die je echt gebruikt. Met name de 1973 preamp simulator is meteen in 100% van de gevallen in gebruik bij mij. Die klinkt erg goed.
Ook netjes dat je USB-C kabel bijgeleverd krijgt. Dit zijn de kosten natuurlijk niet maar wel netjes om die er bij te krijgen. De knoppen voelen goed aan en de inputs geven een geruststellende KLIK bij het aansluiten.
Last but not least: Ik heb hem volledig draaien op de Apple M1, zonder issue of ingewikkelde noodgrepen.
Minimale minpunten, maar voor het gebalanceerde beeld wel belangrijk om te noemen:
het resizen van het Arturia Control Centre software gebeurt omslachtig en is nooit lekker precies zoals je het wil
De presets van de plugins zitten onder Logic niet waar je ze zou verwachten maar in de GUI van de plugin zelf.
Het installeren van de plugins MOEST een voor een in de volgorde download-install. Je kon de 7 gratis plugins niet tegelijk downloaden (??)
goede koop en zeker te adviseren voor iedereen die een goede 8 preamp uitbreiding of geluidskaart zoekt
