General
The AKAI EIE Pro is a tabletop USB audio interface that has been designed specifically for supporting your project and portable studio setups. The four inputs and four outputs ensure that you can build an entire studio around a PC or Mac, together with almost any DAW, recording or playback software, such as the included Pro Tools Express. The EIE Pro is equipped with three USB inputs so you can connect additional controllers, hard disk drives and other peripherals via the audio interface.
Ins and outs of the AKAI EIE Pro
The EIE Pro is equipped with a fair few inputs and outputs. Every channel has an XLR/6.35mm jack combo connector, all of which are nickel-plated with assigned gain spots and mic/line/guitar switches. When you use them as microphone inputs, you can use the high-grade 48V phantom power. Additional audio inserts can be found at the back of the audio interface. The AKAI EIE Pro is equipped with four 6.35mm jack outputs that you could use to connect two monitors, for instance. Both pairs can be monitored via the analogue VU meters, which keep you informed about the output signal. The AKAI EIE Pro is completely plug-and-play, with Mac OS X as well as with XP/Vista/7!
High-grade AD/DA converters
This AKAI USB audio interface is also equipped with high-quality AD/DA converters. This audio interface allows you to enjoy 24-bit quality in sample rates that you can select yourself (44.1 kHz, 48kHz, 88.2 kHz or even 96 kHz). By using low-latency ASIO drivers, you won't be bothered by latency, which leaves you free to enjoy a great sound!
Tips or comments about this product- Please note: Pro Tools Express and the matching iLok will be sent to you after you have registered the product via this website.

- opnemen met condensator mics, dynamisch, toetsen, (bas)gitaar direct of via D.I.
Ideaal voor on the road recoding, studio technisch misschien wat minder.

Thursday 7 January 2016 By Richard | Bax MusicThese days, films can be recorded entirely on smartphones, and some YouTubers are more famous than television presenters. The gap between professionals and amateurs is becoming smaller. Cameras on today's smartphones offer excellent image quality that is getting harder and harder to distinguish from 'the real thing'. Sound quality on smartphones, on the other hand, is an area that is still in need of some improvement. That's where the iKlip A/V from IK Multimedia comes in. It's a broadcast mount with an integrated microphone preamp that will add professional-quality sound to your smartphone footage.
