Is it just me or do phasers always remind of intergalactic robots and other sci-fi-based curiosities when sound designers start hooking up phasers to their string synths? I mean, check out the start of "I Robot" (Alan Parsons Project). With the Dreadbox Euphoria eurorack phaser, you can turn your string-synth sounds into similar robotic expressions. During the 2020 Winter NAMM Show, Behringer introduced their System 100 Modular Synthesizer. It's an incredibly accurate clone of the legendary modular Roland System 100M Circuits that first saw the light of day back in 1975, and the fact that these modules will soon be available in Eurorack formats is amazing news, even more so because of Behringer's benevolent prices!
