Product no: 9000-0022-6745 Bax Music Warranty: This product comes with a 3-year warranty.

General

The Source Audio SA170 Programmable EQ is a highly contemporary and equally streamlined version of the standard EQ pedal. This compact stompbox comes in a study aluminium jacket and offers fast, hands-free control over four programmable EQ settings that are scrolled through by simply holding down the single footswitch. Let the footswitch go once the EQ setting you're looking for is lit up and it's selected. The sound can be sculpted within seven frequency ranges from 125Hz to 8kHz with a filter or boost of no less than 18dB. For bassists, the tweakable frequency range is further expanded to 62Hz to 4kHz, making the magic box that is the Source Audio Programmable EQ the perfect sonic partner for any amplified instrument.

The Source Audio Programmable EQ

With this EQ in your pedal chain, it's possible to dial in your tone with minute precision then save the perfect settings so they can be recalled at the right moment. Making any adjustment is made both easy and aesthetically pleasing by the neat backlit indicators that clearly display which frequency band you're adjusting and how much is being filtered or amplified. Four of your best settings can be saved using the Save button and manually recalled via the Select button as well as the footswitch. This comprehensive pedal can take power from a standard 9V battery or power supply.

Source Audio

In 2005, Source Audio was set up entirely by former engineers, scientists and former employees of Analog Devices, Kurzwell Music Systems and Thomas H. Lee Partners. With more than 80 years of experience combined, the Source Audio project begun. Since this company has just as much experience making analogue circuits as it does digital ones, this can be heard in every one of their pedals, each of which can be controlled via the unique Hot hand 3 Universal Wireless Effects Controller. The Hot Hand is a ring - as in, a ring that's placed on your finger - that functions as an expression pedal. Parameters like filter sweep, wet/dry mix or the gain of a distortion pedal can be adjusted by something as simple as a graceful hand gesture.
