General

Part of the Old Blood Noise Endeavors Utility range, this pedal doesn't just treat your signal to a switchable three-band EQ but a useful buffer that takes up but one slot of your pedalboard. The buffer is continuous, whether the EQ is active or not, so that you're always assured that your effect chain signal retains consistent quality. Toggle the EQ section on and off when needed using the single footswitch and use the provided controls to boost or cut the low-end output by up to 100Hz; the high-end output by up to 2kHz; and broaden the mid-range by up to 500Hz to fatten up your sound or inject a clear mid-scoop.

MXR recently collaborated with some well-known artists to design some new pedals. In the case of the DD25 Dookie Drive that was Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day. For the BFG07 Siete Santos Octavio Fuzz they enlisted the help of Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top. Not to be outdone, Dunlop worked with Jerry Cantrell from Alice In Chains to create the JC95B Cry Baby Wah.
