Take your first flying steps as an accomplished keyboard player with the Yamaha PSR-E253! This keyboard boasts a wide range of different sounds, making it perfect for various music styles, and its Yamaha Education Suite teaches you how to play in a fun and easy way. Thanks to its duo mode, which divides the keyboard into two identical sections, the PSR-E253 is great for regular lessons as well; you and your teacher can sit and play side by side. Featuring a well-organised design, this Yamaha keyboard is easy to operate.
Yamaha PSR-E253: possibilities
The PSR-E253 offers no fewer than 372 sounds and 13 drum/SFX kits, courtesy of its AWM Stereo Sampling sound engine. An extensive selection of accompaniment styles makes the tonal diversity of this keyboard even more apparent. Use them as a backing track, or alternatively, choose your own chords. Thanks to the ACMP function, you only need a single finger to do so, but if you're a little bit more advanced, you can play the entire chord yourself. With the Yamaha PSR-E253, you'll be playing tunes in no time!
Yamaha Education Suite
Learning how to play the keyboard or the piano takes time, there's no way around it. The Yamaha Education Suite (YES), however, speeds up the process considerably, as it enables you to learn a lot in a relatively short amount of time. It uses 100 built-in songs, offers various levels, and a display provides you with the required information. The education suite can even evaluate your performance, so you'll be able to measure your own progress. Press a note, and the keyboard's display tells you the name and its position on the stave. Would you like to learn how to play chords? A special program teaches you how to do just that!

Met deze keuze ben ik zeer tevreden. Het geluid is goed, veel keuze in instrumenten (ik speel nu vooral met de classic piano) en het is mogelijk om een koptelefoon en mp3-speler aan te sluiten. Voor de koptelefoon moet ik eerst nog wel een adapter van mini jack naar stereo 1/4 aanschaffen.
