This Arranger flagship is packed to the brim with world-class sounds. There are over 1,100 to choose from, including realistic stereo-sampled pianos, strings and drums, as well as a wide range of solo instruments (horns, strings, guitars and bass guitars) that all add a lively touch to your arrangements. A draw bar setting provides you with tasty tone wheel sounds, and you can even use the 9 assignable sliders for additional control. The Pa3X has plenty of styles, too - with over 400 preloaded styles and 1,200 available style locations, you can freely adjust the workstation to suit your specific music genre or preferences. Other practical musical tools include a Chord Sequencer, Real-time Performance presets for all 1,200 locations, and Single Touch sound settings. A MIDI and MP3 song player with crossfader and jukebox function can handle Lyrics and Score data, which is displayed on the keyboard's large touch screen. The Pa3X's MP3 player offers real-time transposition, an advanced Vocal Remover and an Audio Chord detection for Vocal Harmony.
PaAS speaker system
With this Pack PaAS edition, not only do you treat yourself to a top-quality workstation, you also get a PaAS monitor system - originally a luxury option. This flat, compact speaker module can effortlessly be attached to the Pa3X without any cables or complicated mounting materials, thanks to Korg's Easy Connect system. The speaker system is powered by the Pa3X, so there's no need for an external power source. The PaAS monitor has a 3-channel design, comprised of a 40-watt subwoofer and two 20-watt speakers for the mids and trebles. Its aluminium bass reflex housing delivers a remarkably rich and dynamic sound that makes any composition sound fabulous, without the intervention of large, expensive monitor speakers or a heavy keyboard amplifier. With the Pa3X 61 Pack PaAS, Korg offers everything modern arrangers and performers could wish for.
