Kat Percussion's KTMP1 multi pad is a fantastic percussion pad that you can use as an accessory to your drum kit, percussion setup or DJ setup. This versatile pad offers no fewer than 50 different percussion sounds - anything from hi-hat to triangle. Its surface is divided into four highly sensitive zones that allow this single instrument to play four different sounds at once. The KTMP1 Multipad can be played with both your hands or with drum sticks.
KTMP1: connectors and display
KAT Percussion gave the KTMP1 a sleek black look. Its clear display allows you to quickly swap between different percussion samples and you can adjust its volume with the handy rotary knob. The sensitivity of the pads is adjustable, so you can tweak it to suit your playing style. Furthermore, it's possible to connect the percussion pad to your hi-hat or bass drum controller, and it features both a USB and a MIDI connector that allow you to control external sources with the KTMP1. Of course, you can also connect a pair of headphones to this pad to play in silence. Finally you can easily mount the KAT Percussion KTMP1 on a stand, thanks to the adapter on the bottom. All in all, it's a great addition to any drummer, percussionist or DJ's arsenal.

Un des seuls où l'on peut jouer avec les mains (sans baguettes), à part le Roland mais beaucoup trop cher pour l'utilité que j'en ai.
Je m'en sers pour ajouter des percussions à mes sets DJ.
Il est très facile à prendre en main, il manque cependant de volume de sortie mais branché sur ma table de mixage, je peux le gérer avec le gain.
Je prends soins de mes affaires, du matériel, j'ai utilisé ce pad quelques fois pour rajouter des sons de percussions et de batterie , j'étais assez satisfait surtout par rapport au prix mais voilà, aujourd'hui je veux l'allumer et il ne marche plus.
Il ne s'allume plus du tout alors que il ne s'est rien passé ( pas de chute ou quoique ce soit ).
décéption du coup, première et dernière fois que je commande sur baxshop car j'avais été très déçu de la livraison rapide (9.99 en plus pour tomber sur un livreur d'ups incompétent et obligé d'aller chercher en point relai pour article).
J'ai essayé avec le kick correspondant avec mon groupe de rock/pop. J'ai hâte de l'essayer avec mon groupe de bal et d' avoir l'avis de d'autres zicos. Bon compromis par rapport à Alesis, Roland et Yamaha.
Pour info , j'ai mis une pédale sustain de base d'un clavier Yamaha à la place du contrôleur hihat et ça marche nickel avec une très bonne sensibilité à mon sens.
Pour info, j'ai l'impression que l'impédance de sortie est semblable à celle d'un micro donc ne pas hésiter à augmenter un peu le gain sur une console.
J'ai hâte de l'essayer avec mon groupe de bal où l'on joue avec des caissons basses. Le Kick devrait envoyer.
Les réglages sont faciles à faire. Il manque juste peut être une fonction pour enregistrer trois ou quatre kit différents et les rappeler en appuyant sur un ou deux boutons. Je trouve que c'est un bon compromis entre les pad Roland et Alesis !

ik gebruik het om ritme tracks die ik opneem in loops iets normaler te doen klinken, ik ben niet zo goed in drummen op een keyboard, met dit kan je er echt wel wat meer feel in steken, zeker door de sensibility instelling.
Wat ik ook leuk vind is dat je vier keer hetzelfde instrument met verschillende toonhoogte kan gebruiken
Dan krijg je pas echt en ritme sectie.
Een nadeel vind ik dat de instellingen niet zijn op te slaan in presets. Nu komt het instrument na uitzetten weer terug in de laatste stand. Vanwege de vele mogelijkheden (50 sounds per pad, die ook nog afzonderlijk zijn te tunen) is het erg bewerkelijk een eerdere instelling weer terug te krijgen. Het was mooi geweest als dat anders kon (bv via de USB aansluiting met een app/tool). Vooral voor live performance.
