Stage and studio ready, this kit boasts a set of TCS pads with real wooden shells which not only look great, but have the kind of rebound and feel you'd only usually get with a set of genuine acoustic shells. Despite the look, the Yamaha DTX10K-X is every bit an electronic drum kit, and a stunningly professional one at that. It also comes pre-loaded with vividly detailed recordings of Yamaha's own industry-standard kits, including the Maple Custom Absolute, Oak Custom, and the Recording Custom - all captured in some of the best studios in the whole of Europe.

The DTX-PROX Module

It's undeniable that the DTX-PROX module is one of the very best you can get right now. Not only does this module provide 700 possible sounds, drummers are spoilt for choice when it comes to the sound-shaping effects on offer. The module is also fitted with a USB port so that custom samples can be loaded in and tracks can be played back from a laptop or smartphone - or, you could just use the Bluetooth function instead - and using the partnered Rec'n'Share app, recordings can be made with ease and shared with your bandmates, clients, or drum teacher in seconds.

The module that's included too is easy to use and has sounds from 25 different drum kits on board. It even has extra inputs so that you can add an additional tom pad or cymbal pad if you like.
