General

This digital drum kit by KAT Percussion is the successor to the popular KT3, and as such it is KAT's most advanced electronic drum kit to date. The KAT KT4 has a gorgeous white finish and drum pads with an 11-inch diameter. Furthermore, it comes with two crash cymbals, a ride and a very realistic hi-hat. Of course, you also get a some boom stands as well as the KT4 sound module! This module has an up-to-date sound bank with no fewer than 780 sounds, including samples of famous Gretsch drum kits from their USA Custom, Brooklyn and New Classic series.

KAT KT4 digital drum kit: studio quality

The built-in General MIDI sound card has a variety of play-along songs, that offer you both enjoyment and new challenges. The comprehensive KT4 sound module has a large number of preprogrammed drum kits, and allows you to comprise your own kits and save them to the module. Besides the many play-along tracks, the module offers 780 studio-quality sounds. With the exception of the bass drum and hi-hat, all pads on this digital drum kit are at least dual zone pads. That means they can produce two different sounds, depending on where you hit them. The cymbal pads even have three zones: bell, bow and edge. Furthermore, the KT4 received a completely redesigned rack .

Connectors:

The KT4 module has two 1/4-inch (6.35mm) jack outputs, to connect it to a mixing board or a recording device. A 1/8-inch (3.5mm) stereo input allows you to connect your MP3 player, smartphone or tablet to the kit, so that you can play along to your favourite tracks and practise your favourite licks. Finally, this electronic drum kit also features USB 3.0, MIDI IN and MIDI OUT connectors, as well as a headphone connector.
