The Roland CY-12C digital dual-zone cymbal 12 inch is the digital counterpart of a traditional crash cymbal. With its 2 trigger zones, it delivers a very natural, short, heavy sound. It lets you accentuate your drumming in an authentic way. A sensitive 12-inch playing surface transmits the contact with your drum sticks very accurately to your drum kit. An ultra-realistic response is ensured for every hit. This digital cymbal has the same weight balance you would expect from a traditional cymbal. The Roland CY-12C turns your crash effects into a real smash hit.
Dual trigger system of the CY-12C
During the development of the CY-12C, Roland have put a lot of thought into the weight balance and sensitivity of the cymbal. A familiar feel and sound is the result. Thanks to the accurate dual trigger design, the CY-12C distinguishes flawlessly between hits on the bow and the edge of the cymbal. Drum setups with the right support even allow you to use the choke function, which enables you to abruptly stop the sound. Naturally, the CY-12C can easily be combined with the drum module and percussion pads of your V-Drums kit.
