General

When it comes to sound quality and construction, nothing beats Yamaha's FS series. The brand continues to put research into continually improving the design of this popular model. This FSX800C NT with a Natural finish has a scalloped bracing that allows the bass and mid tones to really come through. It also features a more slender neck and rolled fret edges. To amplify the FSX800C, simply plug it into an acoustic guitar amp and you're good to go.

Concert-size steel-string

The FSX800C is a concert steel-string, which means it's slightly smaller than the Dreadnought and more elegant in shape. Its size makes it easy to take with you on the road, and it offers a tighter, brighter sound as well. The loud, sold-body top is made of spruce and will only sound better with age. This electro-acoustic guitar has an integrated preamp and tuner, as well as a comfortable cutaway in the body.
