General

Every year, the Takamine master-builders unveil a truly unique beauty in a limited edition. This year, we're spoilt by the sublime LTD2020 'Peace'. An incredibly detailed and highly complex inlay of coloured stone and shell creeps delicately along the ebony fretboard, depicting doves of peace carrying their burden of olive branches. The solid spruce top helps shape the astounding harmonic character of this model and is finished with a softly-toned Green Tea Gloss. The Takamine LTD 2020 Peace comes complete with its very own case.

The LTD2020 Peace: Warm Focus

To support the solid-spruce top, the back and sides are made of ovangkol to give this concert-body acoustic its immense warmth and focus as well as enhanced playing dynamics. As expected, this guitar performs just as beautifully when amplified. Fitted with a Takamine's highest-quality Palathetic pickup and CT4DX preamplifier, the tone can be customised in precise detail using a 4-band EQ and two sets of Notch controls.

Deze Takamine LTD 2020 staat al vanuit de winkel zeer goed afgesteld voor mij.
Ze heeft een warme klank, zeker voor deze grote van klankkast.
De arm is makkelijk te bespelen en de snaren op de frets hebben echt weinig druk nodig om zuiver over te komen.
En de arminleg is supermooi, alsook de thee-groene kleur van de klankkast
De afwerking is goed, behalve had ik de fretuiteinden iets smoother gehad.
Ook zitten er op de witte afwerking hier en daar vergeelde plekjes, wat me toch stoort voor deze prijsklasse.
Maar al bij al toch een mooie, makkelijk spelende gitaar waar ik nog met veel plezier op ga spelen.
