General

Takamine present the GD51CE-NAT: a remarkably luxurious electro-acoustic steel-string guitar. For easy access to all of the frets, this dreadnought has a Venetian-style cutaway while gold-plated machine heads, pearloid position markers and an abalone rosette make for an instantly-imposing appearance. Packed with a TP-4TD preamp with 3-band EQ and gain control, it's clear that this Takamine guitar feels at home on the stage and in the studio, and can be plugged into any amplifier or audio interface.

The GD51CE-NAT: Convincing Tone

Since the top of Takamine GD51CE-NAT is made of solid spruce, excellent resonance and quick response is no problem for this dreadnought. While similar models usually have mahogany back and sides, Takamine have in this case opted for black walnut; a tonewood that not only looks beautiful but frames a large, forceful foundation sound. Thank to a modern 12-inch fretboard radius and a slim neck profile, playing comfort is fully taken care of as well.
