General

Able to deliver the full sound of a dreadnought model but with a comfortably slimmed-down auditorium body, the all-solid electro-acoustic Sire R7GZ offers outstanding quality at an attainable price. The solid rosewood resonance chamber is topped with spruce and fitted with a glued-in mahogany neck with ebony fretboard to shape an elegantly wide and resonant sound. To ensure optimum vibration transference, the R7GZ is also fitted with a bone string nut and bridge.

The R7GZ: Rich, Opulent and Amplified

The rich and opulent acoustic foundation sound is registered by a mounted piëzo undersaddle pickup and a removable single-coil that can be placed in the soundhole. Hook both up to the specially developed external Zebra 7 double-source pickup system and you're provided with all the tools needed to sculpt a custom amplified sound. Create a mix between both pickups using the BLE pot then fine-tune the result with the provided three-band EQ and flip the PH switch to make any phase adjustments as needed. Conveniently, Sire include an unmounted scratchplate that so it can be installed only if actually required.
