General

Seagull is a Canadian guitar brand in heart and soul, which is clear by the type of wood used to make this CW Folk SG. The top is made of solid spruce and the sides and back are made of Amber Trail and Silver Leaf Maple, which are wood types that are indigenous in the northern region of Quebec. Seeing as no two pieces of wood are the same, each part is tested thoroughly. The result is an extremely sturdy, stable guitar that sounds as good as it looks!

CW Folk SG Amber Trail: an eye for detail

The special satin-gloss finish of this CW Folk SG enhances the natural beauty of the wood grain's unique characteristics. What's more, this thin layer of lacquer allows the guitar to breathe, which is beneficial to the overall tone. It also features high-grade components like a Graph Tech Nubone string nut and a compensated bridge saddle for excellent intonation. This guitar offers a high level of playing comfort thanks to the relatively shorter scale length of 24.84 inches and the wide 45.7-mm string nut.

Versatile sound with B-Band preamp

The Seagull CW Folk SG steel-string is equipped with a B-Band AC1.5T preamplifier that enables you to connect it to an acoustic amp. By means of the tone control, you can fine-tune the sound just the way you want it. You'll also have an integrated chromatic tuner at your disposal with an easily legible display and can even be used when the guitar isn't plugged in!
