This Seagull Entourage QIT is an electro-acoustic dreadnought that's undergone a few changes. It has a beautiful Autumn Burst finish, an eye-catching white binding, a redesigned pickguard and a richer, shaded finish on the back and sides. One thing that hasn't changed, however, is its sound that's still suitable for just about anything and that's true whether you're a fingerpicker or you play with a plectrum. The Entourage Autumn Burst has a solid spruce top with a back and sides made of wild cherry.

Entourage Autumn Burst QIT: sound, comfort and preamp

The wood types used in its construction give this acoustic guitar a sound with prominent mids and trebles that are reinforced by the maple neck and rounded off nicely by the rosewood fretboard. The fretboard is flatter than on many other acoustic guitars and has a 16-inch radius which makes it easier to play and solo more quickly. Another feature that enhances this model's playing comfort is its slightly shorter scale length of 24.84 inches. This means that the strings have slightly less tension which makes it easier to press them down. The Godin QIT preamp ensures that the acoustic sound is faithfully reproduced when amplified. It's easy to use and features volume, treble and bass controls that allow you to customise your tone and it has a built-in tuner as well.
